IEER is proud to announce that M. Arham Irfan, a 3rd-year Environmental Engineering student, has officially published a thought-provoking article on envpk.com titled "Iran-US-Israel War: Catastrophic Crime for Nature." Arham’s piece shifts the spotlight from political headlines to the "environmental crimes" of modern warfare, detailing the massive carbon bootprints of military mobilization, the long-term scarring of habitats, and the toxic legacy left in soil and water. As we push for global sustainability, Arham reminds us that peace is an ecological necessity and that geopolitical stability is a vital catalyst for environmental protection. We are thrilled to see our students contributing to critical global security dialogues and leading the charge in environmental journalism. Read the full insights at www.envpk.com and join the conversation below on how we can better integrate nature into our global security frameworks.
