Department of Zoology in collaboration with Zoological society of Government College University organized "4th international conference on INNOVATIVE Biological and Public Health Research".

Speakers from USA, Netherlands and Turkey virtually joined and delivered online lectures.

Huge number of researchers and students participated from various universities of Pakistan.

Faculty, staff and students of Government College University did a great job for successfully organising and smoothly conducting the 2-day conference.

Department of zoology celebrates WORLD FISHERIES DAY at GCU new campus Kala Shah kaku.

Students, members of public and private sector actively participated in the event.

Celebrations started with an awareness walk led by Worthy vice chancellor Prof Dr Asghar Zaidi , chairperson department of zoology Hafiz Muhammad Tahir, students and faculty members.
Our students participated in FISH COOKING COMPETITION where they cook amazing dishes made with fish to raise awareness about fish eating.

Vice chancellor along with guests appreciated the students and encouraged them to participate in healthy activities.

A seminar was conducted where renowned industry personal motivated the students and guided them about entrepreneurship.

At the end VC along with dean faculty of chemistry and life sciences (Prof. Dr Ahmad Adnan) and Chairperson department of zoology (Prof. Dr Hafiz Muhammad Tahir) distributed souvenirs to guest speakers.
They also distributed Cash prizes for winning teams of fish cooking competition as token Of appreciation.

Zoological society of Department of Zoology, Government college university set up a registration desk at science block.

Great number of students and teachers filled membership form.

Worthy vice chancellor Prof Dr Asghar Zaidi along with Chairperson department of zoology Prof Dr Hafiz Tahir and advisor Zoological society, Dr shaukat Ali visited the registration desk to encourage students and appreciated them for wonderfully conducting the activity.

Faculty of Department of zoology congratulate our Worthy vice chancellor Prof Dr Asghar Zaidi for being awarded with Allama Iqbal Award.
