Not knowing the miles of distance in between
why is it hard to let someone go?
to abandon a place
that once felt like home,
a place where you belong
I once had a Home,
embellished with the scent of love,
nurtured with the spring of pain
but one day,
when I woke up,
scattered and shattered
there was no home
but pieces,
of the time we spent together,
of memories,
that now enlighten my soul
