Faculty of Engineering - University of Central Punjab is arranging a free bootcamp and counselling session for intermediate students on 17, 18 and 19th of August.
The bootcamp will provide a hands-on opportunity for students to learn about engineering fields, including Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Robotics and Computer Engineering. All interested students of F.Sc. Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, ICS (Physics, Maths) and DAE are encouraged to register and attend!! A certificate will be issued to participants.

Human Centred Robotics Lab is a constituent lab of National Center of Robotics and Automation - NCRA at the Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering - University of Central Punjab and houses a state-of-the-art 3D motion capture system. The facility is built for biomechanical analysis of human motion for diverse applications. We are currently looking to expand the scope of our lab to explore more applications, including video game design, animation, robotics, sports and virtual reality. Students of Engineering, Computer Science, and Software Engineering with knowledge of coding, Unreal, or Blender can avail this opportunity as interns during summer or FYDP projects. This one-of-a-kind lab in Pakistan is open for experimentation and testing of innovative ideas.

The Human Centred Robotics Lab (NCRA), Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Central Punjab, Lahore, proudly participated in the Indus Robotics and Automation Systems (RAS) Expo 2026, held on 22–23 July at the Pakistan-China Friendship Centre.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kashif showcased its flagship projects, including the Lower-Body Exoskeleton and the 3D Motion Capture System, to a diverse audience of academics, industry professionals, and visitors.
The event offered a valuable platform to engage in meaningful discussions, exchange ideas, and learn from leading voices in the robotics and automation ecosystem.
Hats off to the NCRA team and IGNITE; this platform brought together exceptional people, products, and ideas shaping the future of Robotics and Automation in Pakistan.
