An important meeting was held at ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฎ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐น ๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ between ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐, Vice Chancellor - ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ผ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ป๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ป๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐, ๐๐ป๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ (๐๐จ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐ฆ), and ๐๐บ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐ญ๐ฒ๐ฏ - Director Training ๐๐๐๐ค ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป, in which detailed discussion was done on joint measures to bridge the gap between school education and higher education in Balochistan.
โThis meeting was part of the series that started with the consultation between ๐๐ป๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ต๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐น๐น๐ฎ๐ต ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ฟ, Vice Chancellor - ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐ถ, and ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฎ๐ต๐ถ๐ฑ ๐ช๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ถ, Chief Executive Officer - ๐๐๐๐ค. In this consultation, it was agreed that an important educational conference would be organized in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, in which the gap between elementary & secondary education and higher education, its causes and possible solutions would be comprehensively considered.
โSpecial attention was paid in the meeting to how a better link can be established between school and university education according to modern requirements. In this regard, important topics such as curriculum, assessment and examination system, pedagogy, teacher training and effective use of ๐๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ came under discussion.
โ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ is counted among Pakistan's prominent experts in the field of ๐๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ and is among the early Pakistani scientists to complete a Ph.D in this field. Keeping his academic and research expertise in view, special consideration will also be given in the conference to the possibilities of improving educational standards, teaching, assessment, and the process of students' transition from school to university through ๐๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ.
โIt was agreed in the meeting that ๐๐๐๐ค, ๐๐จ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐ฆ and ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐ถ will jointly organize an Educational conference in Quetta in the first week of November.
โEfforts will be made in the conference to bring together all the relevant stakeholders, educationists, universities, school education, teachers, policymakers and other relevant institutions of Balochistan on one platform, so that by identifying the educational gap between school and higher education, practical solutions can be found.
โThe participants expressed the resolve that this conference will not remain limited to merely an academic activity, but through it important changes will come in the educational system of Balochistan.
