Symposium with Akhuwat Foundation

Open and Distance learning (ODL) training at the University of Sargodha
It’s a matter of immense pleasure and honour for Media And Communication Studies CUI Lahore that our founding HOD and leader is the torchbearer for ODL training in HEIs of Pakistan.
He has recently planned, managed, and organised a first-of-its-kind training with his colleagues from Virtual University, who have pioneered virtual education for the past two.
Special gratitude to worthy vice chancellor Prof-Dr Qaisar Abbas sb who took the lead in initiating ODL directorate at UOS.
We are thankful to Babar Ali sb, GM, VTV and my colleague when we launched Virtual University together.
We are also thankful to Ustad g Ahmad Bilal for being the team lead and Nadia Saleem for being a great team member.

This team is going to train all HEIs on ODL being a member of the pioneer team on ODL policy by HEC.

During his visit to CUI Lahore to teach a course to IMPM students, Prof. Michel Waldschmidt (Sorbonne University, Paris, France) also visited several other institutes, including the Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences at GCU Lahore. He had a productive session with young scholars at ASSMS, offering valuable guidance and future directions for their work.
