Amazon News:
On August 31, 2023, we’re discontinuing the Marketplace Web Service (MWS) Merchant Fulfilment, Orders and Reports API sections. After this date, MWS users won’t be able to retrieve data from these sections.

If you use any of these API sections, you must migrate from MWS to SP-API or replace your private app with a third-party app by August 31 to avoid disruption to your business automation.

Using SP-API will help you grow your business through increased selling efficiency, reduced labour requirements and improved response time to customers.

Effective April 1, 2024, all other remaining MWS API sections will be discontinued.

AMAZON NEWS FOR EU SELLERS…

If you're an EU resident and generate €2,000 or more in sales or complete 30 or more transactions in the current calendar year, you have until 1 October 2023, to provide information required under the Directive on Administrative Cooperation—7th amendment (DAC7).

DAC7 requires online stores in the EU, such as Amazon, to report revenue and business information to tax authorities annually.

If you meet the criteria above, you must provide or confirm the required information in Seller Central for each store that you sell in by October 1, or, if you become eligible later, 60 days after receiving the first notification from Amazon. DAC7 requirements will apply for every future calendar year.

Important: If you don’t submit the required information for each of your Amazon selling accounts (including those outside of the EU), your accounts may be deactivated and your funds withheld until you provide it and it’s verified against the competent authorities’ database.

Effective from March 21, 2023, we will temporarily disable the Money Off promotions as we add advanced functionalities to this promotional feature.

Starting on March 21, 2023, you will not be able to create new Money Off promotions. However, if your Money Off promotion is created before March 21, 2023, you can continue to run it for the next 30 days until April 20, 2023. During this period, you can convert your existing Money Off promotion to Percentage Off promotion. Effective April 20, 2023, any active or pending Money Off promotions will be disabled.

Other promotions, such as the Percentage Off, and the Buy One Get One continue to be active and will be available.
