Obituary: إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

It is announced with utmost grief that Raza Saeed .saeed.16 sb (MBA 1979-81), also EC Member IBA-PU Alumni Association passed away in Makkah today while he's there to perform Hajj 2026.

May his soul rest in Jannah. Aamin

Felicitations Kh. Waqas Ahmad (MBA 1995-97) on being appointed as CEO designate of OLP Modaraba.

He is an experienced professional, having worked for over 25 years in financial sector, holding various middle and senior management positions.

Alhamdulillah, the elections for the Executive Committee of the IBA–PU Alumni Association for the term 2025–2028 were conducted peacefully on 21 December 2025.

Voting took place from 10:10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and an overwhelming response from the voters, MashaAllah, was witnessed unprecedented in scale. The Association extends its sincere appreciation to the alumni for their enthusiastic participation and for visiting IBA to exercise their right to vote.

The 15 candidates securing the highest number of votes were duly declared successful by the Election Committee. Special appreciation is extended to the Director, IBA Punjab University, Prof. Dr. Muqqadas Rehman Ch., for her presence on the day and her full support in ensuring the elections were conducted in an immaculate manner. The highest regards are also due to Dr. Humaira Asad and Dr. Yasir Ashraf, members of the Election Committee, for managing the process with utmost professionalism and calm. Profound thanks are likewise extended to the IBA administrative staff for their continuous and invaluable support.

Warm regards are also extended to those candidate(s) who were not successful, with the hope for their continued cooperation and support for the Alumni Association.
