Here is an article by Human Rights Watch about Shazia, a teacher who grew up in Lyari, Karachi which is one of the poorest and most dangerous neighborhoods in Pakistan. She opened up a free school to educated the children in hope for a better future!

She opened the school around 2014 in a room in her grandmother’s home.
