The Department of Fine Arts at the University of Home Economics arranged BOS meeting on 20/09/2023. The meeting was chaired by
Dr.Samina Zaheer Chairperson ,dept of Fine Arts Uhe. Respected members of BOS and faculty attended the meeting. The members of BOS appreciated the efforts of the Dept of Fine Arts, University of Home Economics Lahore.

Izza Naseem ,student of the Department of FineArts Semester 5 won *1st Prize* in *Painting Competition* at Aiwan-e-Iqbal.

With the blessings of the Almighty, our team from the Fine Arts Department, consisting of dedicated students, teachers, and two diligent guardians, accomplished the successful plantation of 50 young Kuchnaar saplings on the previous week within the cherished grounds of our university. This endeavor stands as a modest stride towards transforming Lahore into a city free from the clutches of smog. Our aspirations extend towards further contributions in the times ahead.

The history of the University of Home Economics, Lahore goes back to 1955 when it was established as College of Home Economics to educate female students in various life skills. The department of Fine Arts at the prestigious University of Home Economics consists of sub disciplines in art that can teach the students explore and master different techniques and mediums of drawing and painting, transferable skills, good communication skills, research skills, digital literacy in their own discipline, dexterity in treating art mediums and team work skills to say the least, all those capabilities that help the students to turn into proficient professionals and researchers and enhance their prospects of employability.
