21st Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP) Career Day–2026
The 21st Career Day under the Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP) was successfully held on 7th May 2026 at Government College of Technology (GCT), Railway Road Lahore, in collaboration with Toyota Indus Motor Company Pakistan. The event aimed to provide employment opportunities and industrial exposure to final-year DAE Automotive Technology students while strengthening industry-academia linkage.

Key Objectives:
• Provide employment opportunities to final-year DAE students.
• Bridge the gap between technical education and industry requirements.
• Enhance students’ technical, professional, and communication skills.
• Strengthen collaboration with the automotive industry.

Participation Highlights:
• Total 3rd Year DAE Automotive Students: 210
• Participating Students: 130
• Participating Organization: Toyota Indus Motor Company Pakistan
• Toyota dealerships from Lahore and nearby cities actively participated in recruitment activities.

Major Activities:
• Written and assessment tests
• Technical and HR interviews
• Career guidance and professional interaction sessions
• Evaluation of students’ technical and professional competencies

Outcomes:
• 53 students were shortlisted after assessment.
• 25 students were selected for employment as Service Advisors.
• Students demonstrated strong technical competence and professional aptitude.
• The event further strengthened institutional linkage with the automotive sector.

Historical Significance:
The T-TEP program at GCT Lahore was established on 18 September 2000 and has been successfully producing skilled manpower for Pakistan’s automotive industry for more than two decades.
