This is the Part 1 of the Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah Seminar. One of the leading Historians of Pakistan, Professor Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Chawla is the Keynote Speaker. Besides him, Professor Dr. Rukhsana Iftikhar and Professor Dr. Muhammad Raza Taimoor are the other panelists. Asst. Professor Ghazi Muhammad Abdullah is Moderating the Session.

This Seminar can be helpful for those who want to understand the actual vision of the Quaid-i-Azam, the founder of Pakistan, about this new born Country on the Map of the World, about its People, the Nature of the State and Government, the position of the Minorities, status of Islam in the state's matters. The participants of the Seminar are engaged in a serious discussion with a positive and constructive intent. One can find a multidimensional aspects of the Personality and Role of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah which helped harnessing the Pakistan Movement towards its ultimate goal. One can imagine how much difficult was task of the Charismatic Leader of the Muslims of the Indian Subcontinent? How he anchored and led his people to achieve their destined land?

This is not a static or stereotype discussion among the participants. Infact, the main focus of the Seminar is to crystalize the contradictions between the Quaid's Vision and the Present Day's Pakistan. The problems, the hurdles, the conflicts of the Pakistan and the Pakistanis particularly highlighting the political, sectarian, social and economic aspects which continue to pose a serious challenge. The role of present day's leadership i.e. Political, Bureaucratic, Military is part of the discussion as well.

This Seminar is a fine example of how the Scholarly Debates and Discussions can be equally valuable for the Academia and the public at larger end. It demonstrates how scholars and historians can engage their audience to reach some constructive conclusions? The participation of the audience i.e. the Teachers, Scholars, Students alike, is worth mentioning. East Pakistan Crisis which culminated in the Dismemberment of Pakistan on 16 December, 1971, is the most disturbing incident in the History of Pakistan.
