Brief Report: Study Circle Session
Peace & Harmony Club, GGCW Gulberg, Lahore
The Peace & Harmony Club of Government Graduate College for Women, Gulberg, Lahore, conducted a 1-hour study circle on the topic “Pakistani First: Building Nationalism & Solidarity on Campus".Students enthusiastically participated in study circle. The objective of the session was to promote nationalism, patriotism, and solidarity among youth and to highlight the importance of unity beyond differences of language, province, and sect. The session began with an icebreaker activity, followed by a discussion on Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of a united Pakistan. Students were divided into groups to discuss barriers to unity on campus and the role of their academic disciplines in fostering harmony. In addition to it, a practical skill session on the 3D Response: Detect, Defuse, Dialogue was conducted to equip students to respond to divisive comments peacefully. The session concluded with students making personal pledges to promote positive messaging and unity. The study circle successfully engaged students and motivated them to act as Peace Ambassadors in promoting peace and national solidarity.
