Yesterday, A seminar and an awareness walk on "Earth hour" was arranged by Garette Geographical Society at New Campus,KSK.

Earth hour is a worldwide movement. Earth hour 2022 will be at 8:30pm-9:30pm on Saturday, 26th March.

An awareness walk on smog issue in the premises of GC University, Lahore was arranged by Geography Society for Intermediate studies. The main purpose was to create awareness about the causes and preventive measures for smog. The walk led by the honourable VC, started from post graduate block and ended at amphitheater. Students from Geography society were holding playcards and throwing light over preventive measures. The chief guest Vice Chancellor director intermediate,Deputy director, Director Sports, Controller Examination all were the part of the walk for this cause.
At amphitheater, the advisor geographical society informed the participants about the Hazardous impact of smog in our life. He also devised how to control smog. At the end, Vice Chancellor appreciated this activity and advised perform such co-curricular activities. The geography society determined to put some initiatives to aware the society through essay writing competition, declamation contest and also resolute to start a plantation drive
