Government College Township

It was established in 2003 as a result of the denationalization of Govt FC College. Lahore. The teaching staff of Govt FC College, Lahore was accommodated here. Owing to the aspirations of the residents of the area, and keeping in view the lack of educational facilities in the largest housing scheme of Pakistan. this college is a blessing for Township. It has a total enrolment of about 4000 students. It admits students to FA/ FSc / I.Com,ADP(Two Years) and BS(Four Years) programs. Institutions are known for the faculty they attract and retain, the learning environment they provide, and the infrastructure they maintain. In the light of these three yardsticks, the picture, which emerges regarding Govt College Township, Lahore is quite encouraging and optimistic. The faculty is highly qualified, competent, and motivated. About one-fourth of the faculty members are either Ph.D. or M Phil. These statistics indicate the caliber of resource persons. The environment is quite conducive for learning and character building in curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular spheres. The maintenance of discipline is given top priority. Since existing physical facilities had become inadequate with the increasing number of students, the construction of a new academic block. laboratories. administration block and faculty lounge have made-up the acutely felt deficiency. The laboratories and library are adequately equipped to cater to the needs of the students. We, as team workers. are committed to preparing the future generation to become true human beings, patriotic individuals, and useful citizens of Pakistan.
