Critical parameters impacting embryo recovery performance in ET programs in mares

Dr. Maria Luiza Munhoz
Dr. Munhoz earned her veterinary degree in 2013 from UDESC (Santa Catarina, Brazil), followed by postgraduate studies in Equine Clinic, Surgery, and Reproduction at PUC/Paraná.
In 2016, she began her fieldwork in equine theriogenology, supporting multiple farms with artificial insemination and embryo transfer. In 2018, she moved to China to lead the embryo program at the Wuhan Jockey Club. Since 2021, she has been managing the reproductive program at MK Arabians in the UAE.
Dr. Munhoz actively participates in international congresses, provides private training, and delivers lectures on equine embryo transfer. She has published peer-reviewed papers and abstracts on stallion semen biotechnologies and continues advancing her expertise in IVF and ICSI equine embryo technologies.
