The 75 years of Pakistan-China Friendship event was celebrated today at Government Associate College of Commerce. The day started with Awareness Walk, where students and faculty marched together with flags and banners, visibly demonstrating the strength of bilateral unity. This was followed by a creative Poster Competition that allowed students to showcase their artistic talents . The event concluded with an informative Seminar, where insightful speeches highlighted the historical importance of this strategic partnership .

An insightful and highly necessary Psychiatry Awareness Session was conducted today at the Government Associate College of Commerce. The primary objective of the event was to educate students on the significance of mental health.
The session was led by Dr. Raeesa from the Family Clinic at Services Hospital, who brought valuable clinical expertise to the forum.To make the concepts easily digestible, students were shown educational videos that illustrated common psychological challenges. Dr. Raeesa actively encouraged the audience to speak up, prompting students to ask questions and discuss their doubts openly in a safe environment.

A seminar on the theme of Tolerance was organized at the college where students delivered insightful speeches highlighting the importance of respect, understanding, and peaceful coexistence in society.

At the end of the event, the Principal and Vice Principal shared their views, emphasizing that tolerance is the foundation of harmony and encouraging students to practice it in daily life.

A poster competition was also held on the same theme, with students expressing their ideas creatively through art.

A seminar on climate change was held in the college today. The speakers, Ms. Maryam and Ms. Maham, shed light on the causes and solutions of climate change and shared their thought-provoking ideas with the students. They explained how human activities are affecting the environment and emphasized the need to adopt eco-friendly practices.
The seminar proved to be very informative, and the students gained valuable knowledge about climate change and its impact on our planet.

A seminar on the topic “National Unity: Our Shared Responsibilities as Future Custodians” was conducted in the college. The speakers, Ms. Shagufta and Ms. Kalsoom, threw light on the importance of national unity and shared their valuable views with the students. They highlighted how unity, tolerance, and mutual respect are essential for the progress and stability of a nation.
Students actively participated in the seminar and delivered speeches on tolerance, emphasizing the role of youth in promoting harmony and peace in society. An essay competition was also conducted on the topic “The Role of Youth in Eradicating Extremism”, which encouraged students to express their ideas and thoughts creatively and critically.
At the end of the seminar, Principal Madam Snober concluded the session with her insightful thoughts and motivated students to play their role as responsible future citizens.

Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed on 5th February at Government Associate College of Commerce, Lytton Road, Lahore. On this occasion, various activities were organized, including an essay writing competition, poster painting, and speeches. The Principal, Ms. Snober Tahir addressed the students and explained the historical perspectives of Kashmir. She highlighted the importance of unity and awareness regarding the Kashmir issue. At the end of the event, a solidarity walk was conducted to express support for the people of Kashmir.
