A delegation based upon faculty and students of the Department of Economics and Statistics of HSM at the University of Management and Technology (UMT) visited the Bureau of Statistics (BoS), Lahore Punjab. The event was presided over by the Director General, BoS Punjab. The students were eager to learn about the BoS's data-related information and research methods.

Department of Economics and Statistics at HSM in collaboration with the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics-PIDE and Research for Social Transformation and Advancement (RASTA) organized an awareness session on “Two Major Economic Problems of Pakistan” via the screening of short documentaries ('Rethinking Urban Mobility in Pakistan' and 'No Country for Youth') followed by a discussion.
