The Social Work Department at the University of the Punjab is organizing a significant Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar on 28th October 2024 at 11:30 AM as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The seminar, themed "Prevent, Detect, Protect: Fight Breast Cancer", will highlight the importance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer, which affects millions of lives globally.
Guest speakers include Dr. Noor-Uz-Zaman, a leading expert from the Phoenix Foundation for Research & Development, and Mr. Omer Aftab, the Founder and CEO of Pink Ribbon Pakistan, a national organization dedicated to breast cancer awareness and advocacy. Both speakers will share expert insights on breast cancer prevention, early detection strategies, treatment options, and the available support systems for patients and survivors.
