HEC Intervarsity Basketball Zone-G Men Championship 2026 is ongoing at UVAS from 09 June 2026 to 10 June 2026. After a thrilling qualifier match between MUL and BNU, MUL secured a strong victory with a score of 45–29 and qualified for the final. The final match will be played tomorrow at UVAS Basketball Court between UVAS vs MUL. We hope for the best performance from both teams.

The Directorate of Sport Minhaj University Lahore successfully organized the MUL Interdepartmental open 7A side Football League 2026. Football tournament in which 8 Departments teams participated all matches are very interesting but the final match was played between Criminology Lads Fc and CS Markhors Fc was held on May 22,2026 at Minhaj University Football ground Lahore match level score by 0-0 final results penalty kicks Criminology Lads Fc won scores by 4-3 the Department of Criminology secured 1st position, the Department of Computer Science achieved 2nd position. The tournament concluded successfully with active participation and appreciation for all teams and organizers.

Bunyan-ul-Marsoos Taekwondo championship Male & Female 2026 was successfully organized by Directorate of Sports Minhaj University Lahore. The championship was held on 22 May 2026 at MUL Sports Gymnasium at the closing day of one month Martialarts, Fitness & self defence training camp with the objective of promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and healthy extracurricular activities among students. A total of 30 athletes participated in the Male championship and 35 in Female Championship. The Championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and strong support from faculty members and university management.

Minhaj University Lahore basketball team played an excellent and competitive match against the University of the Punjab at Forman Christian College. Both teams delivered a strong performance throughout the game; however, Punjab University secured the victory with a final score of 44–36.

The “Bunyan al-Marsus” Badminton Tournament of Minhaj University Lahore was successfully held with great enthusiasm at the MUL Sports Gymnasium. All matches of the event have now been completed, and heartfelt congratulations are extended to the position holders for their outstanding performance and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

In the 16th National Tug of War Championship 2026, the HEC team, under the leadership of the Directorate of Sports, Minhaj University Lahore, secured the Runner-up position after a thrilling and competitive final against Pakistan WAPDA, marking a remarkable achievement.

Heartfelt congratulations to HEC Team Manager Fahad Sarwar (Deputy Director Sports, MUL) and Team Coach Noman Yousaf (Assistant Director Sports, MUL), whose dedication, leadership, and excellent strategy played a vital role in this outstanding performance.

In the FCCU Olympiad Female Futsal Tournament 2026, MUL Female Futsal Team reached the final after defeating Green University in the semifinal and secured the Runner-up position after a competitive 3-1 final against LCWU on May 12, 2026, at FCCU Football Ground. Both teams delivered an excellent performance in a closely contested match.

A friendly match between the MUL Female Football Team and VFC was played on May 14, 2026, at Valencia Football Ground, Lahore. Both teams delivered a spirited and competitive performance in an exciting encounter, however, MUL Female Football Team narrowly lost the match 4–2. A commendable effort and strong fighting spirit from our team throughout the game.

The Inter-Department Cricket Tournament 2026, organized by the Directorate of Sports, was successfully held from May 13 to May 15, 2026, at the university cricket ground. The event aimed to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and healthy extracurricular activities among students.

A total of 34 teams from various departments participated in the tournament. The event received enthusiastic participation from students along with full support from faculty members and the university administration. The organizing committee efficiently managed all aspects of the tournament, including venue arrangements, scheduling, scorekeeping, discipline, media coverage, and team coordination.

The final match was played between Falcons and Emerging Stars. The Department of Criminology (Emerging Stars) delivered an outstanding performance and emerged as the tournament champions, while the Department of Computer Sciences (Falcons) secured second place. Islamic Studies (New Campus) claimed the third position.

The Cricket Team emerged as the Champions of FCCU Olympiad 2026 after defeating FCCU Blue by 38 runs in the final match.

Batting first, Minhaj University scored 127/3 in 10 overs, powered by a magnificent unbeaten 100 runs by Hussnain Qamar. In response, FCCU Blue were restricted to 89/7, with Hasnain Qamer taking 3 wickets.

The team displayed outstanding performance, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament to secure the championship title.
