School Education & Literacy Department , Government of Sindh, in collaboration with , successfully launched Phase-II of the Enrollment & Retention Drive 2025-26.

The Enrollment & Retention Drive is a flagship initiative of SELD, designed to ensure that in — particularly out-of-school children and adolescents /A — gains access to and is supported to remain in school until completion. The program adopts social and behavioral change interventions as a central strategy, focusing on parental , , and with local to address barriers to enrollment and retention.

During the event, the impact of Phase-I using interventions in strengthening community participation, raising awareness about the importance of education, and rates were discussed. Building on this success, Phase-II sets the strategic direction to accelerate progress, scale up outreach to the most vulnerable communities, and reaffirm the Government’s of .
