کوہاٹ یونیورسٹی آف سائنس اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی میں کسٹ ایلومنائی ایسوسی ایشن کے زیر اہتمام دوسری ایلومنائی ری یونین کی ایک رنگارنگ تقریب منعقد ہوئی۔ اس تقریب کی نگرانی ڈاکٹر ذیشان بنگش، ڈاکٹر ذیشان اقبال اور ان کی ٹیم نے کی۔ یونیورسٹی کے سابق طلبہ و طالبات اور سابق ملازمین نے اس اجتماع میں بھرپور شرکت کی۔
​تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سید ظفر الیاس نے سابقہ طلباء و طالبات کو خوش آمدید کہا اور زور دیا کہ ان کا وژن کوہاٹ یونیورسٹی کو جدید تعلیمی معیار، تحقیق اور جدت پر مبنی ایک مثالی ادارہ بنانا ہے۔ انہوں نے ایلومنائی کو یونیورسٹی کے سفیر قرار دیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے ایونٹ کے کامیاب انعقاد پر ڈاکٹر زیشان بنگش (ڈائریکٹر کیو ای سی) اور فوکل پرسنز کی محنت اور مؤثر حکمتِ عملی کو سراہا۔
​اس تقریب میں عالمی شہرت یافتہ مصور لیاقت علی خان، کسٹ کے سابق رجسٹرار آزاد خان خٹک اور ڈاکٹر وصی اللہ سابقہ رجسٹرار کسٹ سمیت دیگر معزز شخصیات نے بھی شرکت کی۔ شرکاء نے اپنی مادرِ علمی سے وابستہ یادیں تازہ کیں اور ادارے کی ترقی میں تعاون کے عزم کا اظہار کیا۔ سابقہ طلباء و طالبات نے سٹیج پر اظہارِ خیال کرتے ہوئے جامعہ کوہاٹ کے کردار کو اپنے پیشہ ورانہ کیرئیر کے لیے اہم قرار دیا۔
​ری یونین کے دوران راشد اسحاق کی نگرانی میں پبلک ریلیشنز آفس کی تیار کردہ کوہاٹ یونیورسٹی پر مبنی ایک خصوصی دستاویزی فلم بھی پیش کی گئی، جس میں یونیورسٹی کی تعلیمی کامیابیوں اور ادارہ جاتی ترقی کو اجاگر کیا گیا۔ بعد ازاں، وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سید ظفر الیاس کو سابقہ طلباء کی جانب سے ان کا پورٹریٹ بھی پیش کیا گیا۔ تقریب کا اختتام ایک رنگا رنگ موسیقی پروگرام پر ہوا، جس سے شرکاء خوب لطف اندوز ہوئے۔

MLT Department, KUST Welcomes New Students with Comprehensive Orientation

​The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) at Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) hosted a comprehensive Orientation Session to formally welcome its freshly admitted students.

​The proceedings began with the solemn recitation of the Holy Quran. This was followed by a heartfelt welcome speech delivered by the Chairman of the Department, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qasim, who set an encouraging tone for the new academic journey.

​The core of the session focused on equipping the students with vital institutional knowledge. Key areas covered included:
​A thorough introduction to KUST's essential rules and regulations.
​A showcase of the state-of-the-art facilities at the University and within the Department.
​An opportunity for students to be introduced to the dedicated faculty members.
​Details regarding the departmental laboratories, the promising scope of the MLT field, and the achievements of its alumni.
​A highlight of earlier events successfully organized by the Department.

​The successful event concluded with sincere thanks and high appreciation extended to the Faculty, the enthusiastic students, and particularly to the efficient Organizing Team, led by Ms. Mujahida Mansoor.
