February 3-4, 2026

The two-day Job and Industrial Expo 2026 was held at Kohat University of Science and Technology. The Department of Psychology greatly participated in this event and had an awareness stall at the expo. During the expo, lots of students and professionals, local and national businesses took benefit from the psychological services and activities (mind games) offered by the Department of Psychology.

Dr. Muhammad Israr, Secretary, Higher Education Department (HED), Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa, visited the Psychology Department stall accompanied by Dr. Imran Marwat Director Quality assurance HED KP and the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Zafar Ilyas. They also appreciated and visited the KUST Counseling Center (KCC) and appreciated the efforts the Department of Psychology made for mental health.

On the second and final day of the KUST Job & Industrial Expo 2026, DIG South (RDOS-1122), Mr. Arif Khattak, MPA Daud Afridi visited the Department of Psychology stall and appreciated the hard work and dedication of Chairperson Dr. Mudassir Hussain and the faculty and students of the Department of Psychology for taking the initiative to support students in mental health.

In this event, Chairperson Dr. Mudassir Hussain acknowledged all the faculty and students' efforts for making the stall so crowded and supporting and solving the psychological queries of lots of students and professionals. The Chairperson praised the efforts and hopes for doing such initiatives/activities in the future to facilitate students and staff of Kohat University.

"Enriching experience!

On January 27th, the ADCP students of the Psychology Department visited the Center of excellence for special children with autism, hayatabad peshawar.
They gained hands-on insights into Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis, treatment, and management.
The staff at the centre provided an excellent orientation on occupational therapy, ABA therapy, and speech therapy cases. A big thanks to the staff of center of excellence for special children with autism for their welcoming response, cooperation and detailed orientation.

محکمۂ نفسیات، کوہاٹ یونیورسٹی آف سائنس اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی (KUST) کی کرکٹ ٹیم نے 14ویں KUST انٹر ڈپارٹمنٹل اسپورٹس گالا میں اپنے پہلے ہی میچ میں شاندار کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے فتح اپنے نام کر لی۔

میچ کے آغاز میں محکمۂ نفسیات کی ٹیم نے بیٹنگ کرتے ہوئے مخالف ٹیم (محکمۂ ECT) کو 107 رنز کا ہدف دیا۔ ٹیم کی جانب سے شاندار اوپننگ دیکھنے میں آئی، جبکہ مخالف ٹیم پوری کوشش کے باوجود صرف 70 رنز بنا کر آؤٹ ہو گئی۔

اس شاندار کارکردگی پر ٹیم کے کپتان شہریار نے بہترین بیٹنگ کا مظاہرہ کرنے والے عمر خان اور محمد سمیع کو نقد انعامات سے نوازا۔ اس موقع پر انہوں نے محکمۂ نفسیات کے چیئرمین ڈاکٹر مدثر حسین کی بھرپور حمایت اور حوصلہ افزائی پر دلی شکریہ بھی ادا کیا۔

محکمۂ نفسیات اس شاندار فتح پر اپنی کرکٹ ٹیم کو تہہ دل سے مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہے اور آئندہ میچز میں مزید بہترین کارکردگی اور کامیابی کے لیے پُرامید اور دعاگو ہے۔
