Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's surface.
Earth's temperature has risen by an average of 0.14° Fahrenheit (0.08° Celsius) per decade since 1880, or about 2° F in total.
Global warming is caused by increasing the concentration of greenhouse gases and these gases are mostly produced by human activities such as deforestation and burning of fossil fuels.
Following are the greenhouse gases....

1.. Carbon dioxide (CO2)

2... Methane ( CH4)

3... nitrogen dioxide (NO2)

4...Ozone (O3)

These gases absorb much of the radiations given out by the Earth's surface and act like a greenhouse around the earth
Greenhouse gases allow the visible and ultraviolet radiations from sun to enter into the atmosphere but don't allow the heat to escape back into the space. So this entrapped heat causes global warming.
