" *SZABMU* has awarded 14 grace marks to its students, while *KMU* has violated the Peshawar High Court's decision and displayed a provisional merit list. In my opinion, KMU is one of the most incompetent universities I have ever seen. It operates like a business, prioritizing profit over education by establishing hospitals, medical colleges, and institutes solely for financial gain. Meanwhile, high-ranking officials enjoy luxuries while students are neglected.

On World Cancer Day, the Department of Oral Medicine at KMU Institute of Dental Sciences, Kohat, stands united in the relentless fight against cancer. Committed to preventing oral cancer, let's raise awareness about it.

On January 12th, the Department of Oral Medicine at KMU Institute of Dental Sciences, Kohat, hosted an enriching workshop on Orofacial Pain & Sleep Disorders. It was participated by faculty, postgraduate residents and house officers. Objective was to empower participants to deliver superior care and elevate the quality of life for their patients.

Assistant Professor & HOD Oral Medicine, Dr. Sana Safi, was the moderator and organizer of the workshop.

Facilitator for the workshop was Dr. Marium Tahir Siddiqui, who has as impressive array of qualifications in Orofacial Pain, Dental Sleep, Clinical Research and Sleep Medicine, from renowned institutions like USC (California), UMN (Minnesota), and Oxford University (UK). Currently, she serves as Faculty at Michigan University (USA)

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran and an enlightening address by Prof. Dr. Fahim Ullah, Principal KMU-IDS, emphasizing the workshop's significance for the institute and improved patient care. Overview of Orofacial Pain was followed by interactive lectures and a hands-on session. Hands-on session, covered practical aspects like SPG Blocks for Headache Patients, Mandibular Advancement Devices for sleep apnea, Myofacial TrP Injections for Myofascial Pain Patients, and Hijama/Cupping for detoxification, pain, anxiety, and sleep.

Workshop culminated with certificate distribution ceremony, which was graced by the presence of esteemed Principal KMU-IMS, Prof. Dr. Mussarat Jabeen. Both the worthy principals of KMU-IMS and KMU-IDS distributed certificates among the participants.
