Today, Government Degree College Shakardara was honored with a monitoring visit. The visit was conducted by JMC Principal Dr. Javed Iqbal along with his dedicated team. It was a great opportunity to showcase the academic environment and ongoing initiatives. Their guidance and support are highly appreciated in maintaining excellence in education.

On 10th December, Human Rights Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal at our Government Degree College Shakar Dhara. On this occasion, Saqib Nawaz, Lecturer in Pakistan Studies, delivered a highly informative and purposeful lecture for the students, highlighting the global importance of human rights, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), and the principles of social justice, tolerance, and equality.

Students actively participated in the session and also played a key role in human rights-related charts and activities.
Our aim is to build a society where the fundamental rights of every individual are respected and every voice is heard.

A monthly test was conducted today at Government Degree College Shakardara for our physical students. The test was held in a disciplined and well-managed environment, ensuring fairness and transparency throughout the process.

Our aim behind these monthly assessments is to strengthen academic performance and provide quality education to our students. The college administration and teaching staff remain committed to maintaining high academic standards and creating an environment that encourages learning, responsibility, and continuous improvement.

🏫 گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج شکردارہ — ڈاکٹر بنارس خان خٹک کی الوداعی ملاقات

آج گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج شکردارہ میں ہمارے محترم پرنسپل ڈاکٹر بنارس خان خٹک نے طلبہ کے ساتھ ایک پُراثر الوداعی ملاقات کی۔ ان کا دوسری کالج میں تبادلہ ہوچکا ہے، لیکن ان کی سادگی، خلوص، خدمت اور رہنمائی ہمیشہ یاد رکھی جائے گی۔

اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر بنارس خان خٹک نے طلبہ کو نہایت اہم اور خوبصورت نصیحتیں کیں۔ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ:

“وقت ایک عظیم نعمت ہے۔ اس کی قدر کریں، اسے غیر ضروری کاموں میں ضائع نہ کریں۔ جو آج وقت کی حفاظت کرے گا وہی کل کامیاب ہوگا۔”

ساتھ ہی انہوں نے طلبہ کو اساتذہ کے احترام کی اہمیت بھی سمجھائی اور کہا کہ استاد کی قدر کرنے والا ہمیشہ عزت اور کامیابی پاتا ہے۔

ڈاکٹر بنارس خان خٹک نہایت سادہ مزاج، بااخلاق اور درد دل رکھنے والے انسان ہیں۔ ان کی سربراہی میں کالج نے نمایاں ترقی کی۔ انہوں نے ہمیشہ طلبہ کے حقوق کے لیے آواز اٹھائی اور اساتذہ کو بھی بہترین رہنمائی فراہم کی۔ ان کا اخلاص، محنت اور انسانیت ہمیشہ یاد رکھی جائے گی۔

🏅 Sports Gala 2025 at Government Degree College Shakardara 🏅

On 14th and 15th November, a spectacular Sports Gala was held at Government Degree College Shakardara, organized under the leadership of Saqib Nawaz (Chairman of the Sports Committee).

During the event,Mr. Saqib Nawaz (Lecturer in Pakistan studies)spoke about the importance of sports, teamwork, and developing leadership qualities among students, emphasizing how sports help in building discipline, confidence, and a healthy lifestyle.

Four teams participated in the event, showcasing their energy, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship.

Team of Sir Musannif Shah

🎉 Team of Sir Farhan Ullah emerged as the winner of the final.

This event not only promoted the spirit of sports but also highlighted the students’ determination, teamwork, and leadership abilities. It was a memorable and inspiring experience for everyone involved.
