The basic difference between Anxiety and depression.
anxious person seems scared, feared and thinks about future more than a normal person. On the other hand a depressed one's hands up and feels nothing important about life. these both conditions are brother and sister and co-exist always. A prolong anxiety leads to depression .

Since the past 4 years, Pakistani rupee has devalued 75.19% against US dollar. Similarly, a massive increase in the cost of basic necessities including electricity, gas, food was found due to the continuous ongoing inflation.
Unfortunately, the stipend of all House Officers across KPK remained unchanged for the past 4 years. This led to a greater economic burden on the talented young doctors leading most of them to leave their motherland for foreign countries.
Our request is to the concerned authorities of KP government to raise the stipend of all House Officers of KPK to a greater than 50% inshaAllah.
This raise would motivate all the brilliant young doctors of KPK and would play very significant role in the provision of highest possible of level of healthcare to the people of KP, Pakistan and entire mankind in the years to come. InshaAllah!
There also needs to be a standardized policy of raising the stipend of all House Officers and Training Medical Officers on fixed yearly basis just like all the professions in KPK and Pakistan, so that in future never ever a need for any applications, press conferences, protests unfortunately arise to raise the stipend.
InshaAllah! Ameen!

Understanding Graves’ Disease: A Common Cause of Hyperthyroidism
Graves’ disease is an autoimmune disorder that leads to the overproduction of thyroid hormones (hyperthyroidism). It’s one of the most common causes of hyperthyroidism and can affect anyone, though it’s more common in women aged 30 to 50.
Symptoms to Watch For:
Unexplained weight loss
Heat intolerance and excessive sweating
Rapid or irregular heartbeat (palpitations)
Nervousness, irritability, or anxiety
Tremors (shaking hands or fingers)
Fatigue and muscle weakness
Goiter (enlarged thyroid gland)
Eye symptoms (bulging eyes, redness, or irritation), known as Graves’ ophthalmopathy
What Causes It?
Graves’ disease occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks the thyroid gland, causing it to produce too much thyroid hormone. The exact cause is not entirely understood, but genetic and environmental factors may play a role.
Diagnosis and Treatment:
Blood tests show elevated T3 and T4 levels with suppressed TSH. Additional tests like thyroid-stimulating immunoglobulins (TSI) or radioactive iodine uptake can confirm the diagnosis.
Treatment options include:
1. Antithyroid Medications (e.g., Methimazole, PTU) - To reduce hormone production
2. Beta-Blockers (e.g., Propranolol) - To control symptoms like palpitations
3. Radioactive Iodine Therapy - To destroy overactive thyroid cells
4. Surgery (Thyroidectomy) - In severe or refractory cases
Living with Graves’ Disease:
With proper diagnosis and treatment, most people can manage Graves’ disease effectively. Early detection and consistent follow-up with a healthcare provider are essential for optimal outcomes.
If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms of hyperthyroidism, don’t ignore them. Reach out to a healthcare professional to get evaluated and treated.
Stay informed and take care of your thyroid health!
