The Noble Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever recites the entire Qur’an from beginning to end, it is as if, upon reaching the end, he immediately prepares for the next journey.”
(Jami‘ at-Tirmidhi, Hadith 2948)

Explanation:

This Hadith highlights the continuity and devotion in engaging with the Qur’an. Completing the Qur’an is a great act of worship, but the Prophet ﷺ encourages believers not to stop at just one reading. Instead, one should treat the Qur’an like a journey that is ongoing—after finishing, one immediately begins again, gaining continuous spiritual nourishment.

The comparison to a journey implies:
• Progress and persistence: Spiritual growth is continuous, like moving from one station to the next.
• Love for the Qur’an: The believer should cherish it and make it a regular part of life.
• Constant guidance: Regular recitation ensures ongoing reflection, learning, and closeness to Allah.

Thus, the Qur’an is not meant to be read once and left aside; it is a lifelong companion whose guidance should be revisited repeatedly.

Key Lessons:
• Recite the Qur’an regularly and consistently.
• Spiritual growth is a continuous journey.
• Loving the Qur’an means revisiting it often.
• Each reading strengthens understanding, reflection, and connection with Allah.
