Quadratic Formula

A powerful formula to find the roots of any equation of the form

ax² + bx + c = 0:

It always works — even when factoring fails. Just plug in a, b, c and get exact answers.

It also shows the type of roots using Δ = b² − 4ac:
🔹 Δ > 0 → Two real roots
🔹 Δ = 0 → One real repeated root
🔹 Δ < 0 → Two complex roots
