the Meeting about the campaign of HPV vaccine in Sanghar District
A meeting regarding to discuss about the campaign of HPV vaccine was conducted today on 19th September, 2025
at the Office of the TEO Primary Male Khipro under the Chair of Ghulam Mustafa Laghari, District Education Officer (Elementary, Secondary & Higher Secondary), Sanghar
Agenda of the meeting was as under
1. Discussion about the success of the HPV Campaign.
2. Support for the Health Department in the HPV Campaign.
3. Discussion and nomination of Focal Persons from each Union Council to support and resolve the issues.

Proceedings of the Meeting:
The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran. After welcoming the participants, the Chair, Mr. Ghulam Mustafa Laghari, District Education Officer, highlighted the importance of the HPV Campaign in safeguarding the health of students and ensuring community well-being.
1. Discussion about the success of the HPV Campaign:
The participants appreciated the effective efforts of the Education and Health Departments in the implementation of the HPV vaccination campaign. It was observed that the campaign had been conducted successfully in most areas with active support from teachers and parents.
but there are some issues due to the unawareness about the campaign
2. Support for the Health Department in the HPV Campaign:
The Chair emphasized that the Education Department will continue to extend full cooperation to the Health Department to achieve the targets of the HPV Campaign. The TEOs and teachers’ representatives assured their commitment to provide necessary assistance, including awareness among parents and students.
3. Nomination of Focal Persons from each Union Council:
After detailed discussion, it was decided that focal persons will be nominated from each Union Council to ensure smooth coordination, quick resolution of issues, and timely reporting of challenges faced during the campaign. The names of the focal persons will be finalized in consultation with TEOs and Teachers’ Associations.
Decisions Taken:
To maintain strong coordination between Education and Health Departments for the continuity of the campaign.
To provide awareness sessions in schools and communities through doctors, elected local Councils members and teachers.
To nominate one focal person from each Union Council within Khipro for effective monitoring and issue resolution.
It was raised a question that Health Department of Khipro should chalk out their plan and share that with Education Officers as we may be aware about their activities in advance and may resolve any issues.
The Chair expressed satisfaction over the progress and reiterated the importance of collective efforts for the success of the HPV Campaign. He appreciated the commitment of all participants and directed timely nomination of focal persons.
The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the Chair and all participants.
