*Discovery of Neutron*

In 1933, *James Chadwick* discovered a new particle called the *neutron*.
A neutron is found in the nucleus of an atom along with protons.
It has *no charge*.
Its mass is almost the same as that of a proton.

After this discovery, scientists knew about the three main particles of an atom: *electron, proton, and neutron*.
These three are called the *basic building blocks of all atoms*.
