Press Release
Sukkur, "14-02-2025" The All Sindh Law Students' Association, Division Sukkur strongly condemns the illegal tampering and unethical manipulation of the Central Election conducted on February 8. This election, in which 1,400 members exercised their right to vote, was compromised by the Election Commission’s biased actions in favor of its associates, including members of the selected Board of Directors panel.
The Election Commission deliberately withheld the results for more than 28 hours, altered the vote sequence without candidate consent, and forcefully expelled polling agents from the counting session, subjecting them to humiliation. Additionally, the commission ignored candidates’ applications and fraudulently rejected votes on a massive scale, including:
95% of Karachi Division votes
50% of Sukkur Division votes
60% of Hyderabad Division votes
40% of votes from Larkana, Mirpurkhas, and Shaheed Benazirabad Divisions
These actions demonstrate clear partiality* and a deliberate attempt to manipulate the election outcome in favor of specific individuals.
In response, the All Sindh Law Students' Association, Division Sukkur, rejects the fraudulent election results and demands:
1. Immediate re-conduction of fair and transparent elections under an independent body.
2. Resignation of the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Election Commission, as they have lost credibility and cannot be trusted to uphold electoral integrity.
Failure to address these demands will result in legal and democratic action to protect the rights of voters and restore fairness to the electoral process.

Sukkur, 26-01-2025 The All Sindh Law Students' Association (ASLA), Division Sukkur, vehemently condemns the brutal and heinous attack on Sadiq Ali Rid, a dedicated law student and promising future advocate. This despicable act of violence is not only an attack on an individual but also an attack on the principles of justice, equality, and the rule of law that we as law students and future custodians of justice stand to uphold.
The incident has left the entire legal community in shock and anguish. It is deeply troubling that such an attack could occur against someone striving to contribute positively to society through legal education and advocacy. Violence of any kind, particularly against individuals pursuing knowledge and justice, is unacceptable and must be addressed with the utmost seriousness.

Press Release
All Sindh Law Students’ Association (ASLA), Sukkur Division, Holds Cabinet Meeting .
Sukkur, December 26, 2024 , The All Sindh Law Students’ Association (ASLA) Division Sukkur convened a cabinet meeting chaired by Vice President Khawaja Ahmed Khan Shar. The meeting was attended by General Secretary Ali Hyder Abro, Information Secretary Fayaz Hussain Shar, Finance Secretary Ashraf Panhyar, and Study Circle Incharge Attaullah Bhutto. While president Zameer Hussain Narejo and secretary to the central president Abdul jalil kubar remained absent due to personal reasons.
The agenda for the meeting focused on two critical issues:
1. Appointment of Board of Directors by the Central Cabinet :
The Sukkur Division discussed the recent appointments made by the central cabinet to the Board of Directors. The cabinet reviewed the memorandum of ASLA and raised significant concerns about the overlap between the central cabinet and the Board of Directors. Questions were posed about how members of the central cabinet could also hold positions as directors, a move seen as contradictory and potentially unethical. The members compared this dual-office arrangement to historical actions, such as General Ayub Khan's self-declaration as both Chief Martial Law Administrator and President of Pakistan.
The Sukkur Division strongly condemned this practice and called upon the central cabinet to revoke what they described as an unlawful action. The members emphasized that such decisions undermine the principles of transparency and accountability enshrined in ASLA’s constitution.
2. Directive from Central General Secretary:
The second point of discussion revolved around the directive issued by Central General Secretary Sukhio Lashari, who demanded an apology from the Sukkur Divisional Cabinet for a comment made by Finance Secretary Ashraf Panhyar on ASLA's official page.
The Sukkur Division rejected this directive, asserting that every member has the fundamental right to freedom of speech and expression. The cabinet deemed the directive as unethical and contrary to the principles of democracy. Members reiterated that no one could be compelled to apologize for exercising their constitutional rights.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Sukkur Division reaffirmed their commitment to upholding the supremacy of the law and the constitution of ASLA. The cabinet emphasized that adherence to the constitution is the only way to resolve conflicts and maintain unity within the association.
