MS journey has ended today.

Earned MS 🎓 degree from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology

Honoured to have worked under the supervision of well known linguist Prof. Dr. Habibullah Pathan

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Dr. Habibullah Pathan , my supervisor, who stood by me throughout my journey. Despite his hectic schedule, he made the extraordinary effort to call off his other commitments and spend hours participating in my viva all the way from Oman. His unwavering support, insightful guidance, and exceptional professionalism have been invaluable to me. I am honored to have such a dedicated and inspiring mentor.

I am also pleased to share that my research received much praise during the open defense seminar and was described as groundbreaking. This recognition reflects not only my efforts but also the incredible mentorship I received from Dr. Habib.

Additionally, I was delighted to receive an appreciative note in my ASRB approval letter, which highlighted the significant contributions of my research.

This achievement would not have been possible without the encouragement and support of honourable Prof. Shoukat Lohar shb he has remained my counselor throughout my MS and days spent at Mehran.

And my family, friends, and colleagues, who believed in me and provided constant motivation. I am deeply grateful to everyone who played a part in this journey.

Thank you once again to Dr. Habib for his extraordinary dedication and support. I look forward to continuing this journey and making further contributions to our field.

Alumni Update: Mr. Ghumro Qadir has been yet another recipient of teaching assistant bursary during MS coursework at CELL (2021-2022). Qadir has remained very diligent and hardworking colleague. We wish him best of luck in his future endeavours.

From Qadir: I am serving as Lecturer in English and focal person for Projects & Proposals at Sukkur IBA University, Khairpur Campus. Along with teaching, I have been tailoring myriad professional training projects under umbrella of SIBA.
I joined MUET in 2021 to learn research in Applied Linguistics. There, I got chance to learn from veteran faculty members Dr. Habibullah Pathan, Dr. Shumaila Memon, Madam Rosy, Sir Shoukat and others. They with their charismatic teaching and administrative skills polished me and made me a professional individual. I have added much to my personality and professional experience during my days af CELL, MUET.

Doing Masters at CELL is not only becoming a researcher but also molding oneself into a professional teacher, scholar, administrator, and public speaker.
