𝐄𝐗𝐄𝐂𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘
Mir Muhammad Gambhir is a dedicated Primary School Teacher (PST) serving at Government Girls Campus High School Pir Mangio, Taluka & District Khairpur Mirs, under the School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh. With 3.5 years of experience in the government education sector, he has established himself as a committed educator, social worker, and community mobiliser.
Before joining government service, he played a historic role in reviving education in his village by successfully reopening the long-closed Government Girls High School Pir Mangio on 8 August 2019, which had remained non-functional for eight years. Due to his continuous efforts, the school was later upgraded to a Campus School on 15 October 2019. Furthermore, on his request, Government Boys Primary School Pir Mangio was merged into the same campus, enabling boys to continue their education up to the secondary level within the village.
Demonstrating dedication beyond his official responsibilities, he personally contributed to improving school facilities by donating a solar plate and two fans, and by arranging school furniture through donor support to enhance the learning environment for students. He also facilitated the provision of teachers’ chairs by repairing old materials through his personal efforts, further strengthening the school infrastructure.
After joining government service, he continued his mission of educational development and played an important role in the upgradation of several educational institutions, including:
• Government Boys Elementary School Waris Gambhir (upgraded to High School) — 2023
• Government Boys Elementary School Lakhmir Shar, Taluka Thari Mirwah (upgraded to High School) — 2023
• Government Boys Primary School Hajana Muhalla Luqman, Khairpur (upgraded to Elementary School) — 2025
Through consistent community engagement and door-to-door awareness campaigns, he significantly increased enrollment at Government Girls Campus High School Pir Mangio from approximately 120 students to more than 720 students within three years.
With his personal efforts, both Government Girls Campus High School Pir Mangio and Government Boys High School Waris Gambhir successfully obtained affiliation from the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Sukkur in 2023, marking a major milestone for the region’s educational development.
His journey reflects a deep commitment to uplifting education standards, particularly in underserved and remote areas, where he continues to work tirelessly for the betterment of students and institutions.
