Class 5 and Class 8 students will sit board-style exams from 2026. Punjab Education, Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority (PECTA) announced the Dates for Class 5 and 8 board exams. However, the private schools are exempted from this and their internal exams will continue as usual. Class 5 papers will start from 9th February 2025 and Class 8 papers will start from February 16-24, 2025.

It is hereby stated that all the public and private sector schools in Punjab shall remain closed from 28-05-2025 (Wednesday) to 14-08-2025 (Thursday) for summer vacations. All public and private sector colleges in the province shall reopen from 15-08-2025 (Friday) resuming all classes.

والدین کے لیے ایک اہم پیغام !!

جن کے بچے اب کلاس نہم میں داخل ہونے جا رہے ہیں

میٹرک کے لیے اب صرف دو آپشن نہیں رہے جیسا کہ پہلے ہوتا تھا میٹرک سائنس اور میٹرک آرٹس !!

انٹرنیشنل نظام کو سامنے رکھتے ہوئے اب پاکستان میں بھی، وزیر اعلی پنجاب کی جانب سے میٹرک کے لیے مختلف مضامین/کورسز کا آغاز کر دیا گیا۔

اب 2025 سے میٹرک میں درج ذیل گروپوں کو شامل کر دیا گیا ہے:
1. Matric Computer Science

Subjects:
All Compulsory Subjects + Physics + Chemistry+ Maths + Computer Science and Entership + Information and Communication Technology

2. Matric Health Science

Subjects:
All Compulsory Subject + Physics + Chemistry + Biology + Health Sciences

3. Matric Agricultural Science

Subjects:
All compulsory Subject + Physics + Chemistry+ Maths + Biology + Agriculture Science

4. Matric Fashion Designing

Subjects:
All Compulsory Subject + General Science + Computer Science and Enterprenuership + Communication Skills and Personal Grooming + Fashion Designing

IBCC اجلاس میں اہم فیصلے
❖ ملک بھر کے میٹرک و انٹرمیڈیٹ امتحانات میں گریس مارکس 3 سے بڑھا کر 5 کرنے کی منظوری۔
❖ یتیم بچوں کیلئے فیس معاف ہوگی۔
❖ ڈیجیٹل کوئسچن آئٹمز بینک فعال کیا جائیگا۔
❖ ملک بھر کے تمام بورڈز کے امتحانات مارچ اپریل جبکہ نتائج جون جولائی میں ہون گے۔

انٹر بورڈز کوآرڈینیشن کمیٹی (آئی بی سی سی) کے مطابق اب ہر مضمون میں پاسنگ مارکس 33 کے بجائے 40 ہوں گے، اجلاس میں گریس مارکس 3 سے بڑھا کر 5 کر دیے گئے۔
پہلے 30 نمبر حاصل کرنے والے طالب علم کو 3 گریس مارکس دیے جاتے تھے، اب 35 نمبرز حاصل کرنے والے طالب علم کو 5 نمبر گریس دے کر پاس کیا جائے گا۔
آئی بی سی سی کا کہنا ہے کہ 2 سے زائد مضمون میں فیل ہونے والے طالب علم کو گریس مارک نہیں ملیں گے۔
انٹر بورڈز کوآرڈینیشن کمیٹی (آئی بی سی سی) نے یہ بھی کہا کہ فیصلے کا اطلاق 2025ء کے امتحانات سے ہو گا۔

سموگ کے پیش نظر بچوں اور ٹیچرز کی صحت کی خاطر پنجاب کے تمام اضلاع کے سرکاری اور پرائیویٹ سکولز کو ۱۷ نومبر تک بند کرنے کے احکامات جاری- کل بدھ 13 نومبر سے 17 نومبر اتوار تک ڈی جی خان, بہاولپور, ساہیوال, سرگودھا اور راولپنڈی ڈویژن میں سکولز کالجز بند رہیں گے۔
