Youm-e-Takbeer (یومِ تکبیر)
Youm-e-Takbeer, observed annually on May 28th, is a significant national day in Pakistan that commemorates the country's successful nuclear tests conducted in 1998. On this day, Pakistan became the seventh nuclear power in the world and the first in the Muslim world.
The nuclear tests, known as Chagai-I, were carried out in the Chagai District of Balochistan, in response to nuclear tests by India earlier that month. This marked a crucial moment in Pakistan’s defense strategy, reinforcing its commitment to maintaining a strategic balance in South Asia.
The word "Takbeer" means "proclamation of the greatness of God" (Allahu Akbar), symbolizing national pride, strength, and the will to defend sovereignty. The day is remembered with patriotism, tributes to scientists (notably Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan), military personnel, and leaders involved in the program.
Youm-e-Takbeer serves as a reminder of Pakistan's resilience, scientific advancement, and the enduring pursuit of national security.

A one-day training workshop by the team of Bahria University in collaboration with US Embassy was successfully conducted today, with 24 teachers in attendance from EFAF’s adopted schools. The engaging and informative session focused on innovative activities for effective language teaching. Through interactive discussions and hands-on exercises, participants explored new methods and strategies to enhance language learning outcomes. The workshop provided a valuable platform for teachers to share experiences, exchange ideas, and acquire fresh insights to enrich their teaching practices.
The Parents-Teacher Meeting held yesterday was a wonderful reflection of the strong partnership between parents and the school. We were thrilled to see so many parents actively involved, asking insightful questions, and showing genuine interest in their children’s educational journey. This level of participation not only supports our collective goal of student success but also strengthens the bond between home and school.
We are also pleased to announce that our students have shown excellent results in their recent exams. Their dedication and focus are evident in the impressive outcomes, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work. This achievement is a testament to the students' commitment and the continuous support they receive from both their families and teachers.

Midterm Result day and PTM held at GBPS DB Advani on 17 December 2024.
The Parents-Teacher Meeting held yesterday was a great success, with a remarkable level of engagement and participation from parents. It was heartening to see such active involvement, as parents took time to discuss their children's progress, share insights, and collaborate with teachers on strategies to further enhance student performance.
