Dr. Moazzam is a well-known educationist of Karachi. He initiated his teaching career in the year 1983 in various renowned institutions. Later on appointed as a Chemistry Lecturer (BPS-17) by the Education Department, Govt. of Sindh in the year 1989 and started serving on Government level. Gradually stepping up promoted as Assistant Professor (BPS-18), Associate Professor (BPS-19) and then full professor (BPS-20). Meanwhile, he successfully completed his Ph.D in pharmaceutical chemistry in 1995 and then post doctorate. In the year 2013 he was transferred and posted as principal/professor at Govt. College Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block-13. He was then transferred and posted as Principal of Adamjee Govt. Science College in the year 2017. Being one of the senior most professors in college education, he was appointed as the Director General Colleges Sindh, in the year 2019. Dr. Moazzam has worked as a member of Board of Governors in BIEK, course committee BIEK, course committee STB, President Karachi Intellectual Lions club, President Social Student Forum and several other educational platforms. He is also a life member of Pakistan Chemical Society and Royal Society of Chemistry United Kingdom. He is a member of editorial board of two scientific journals. His research work has been published in various national and international journals; presently he is associated with industrial analytical centre at University of Karachi.
