Adamjee Government Science Degree College

A speech Competition was Held by the Character Building Society at Adamjee Government College with the title of "Watan Ki Mittee Gawah Rehna". Muhammad Zain (XII-D) won first place for his amazing speech.

An inter-collegiate Volleyball competition was held at Adamjee Government College. Our chief guest was the Secretary of Sindh Olympic Association, Mr. Ahmad Ali Rajput and our guest of Honour was Mr. Shahid Masoodm Secretary of Sindh Volleyball Association

Student's Week was held this week to give students a break from the stress of exams. Various events were held over the course of the week such as the Qira'at Competition, Quiz Competition, and Bait Bazi Competition. Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to all those who helped out and participated in the events.

A seminar was held on the topic of road safety in coordination with the National Highway Police. The students learned about the importance of helmets while riding a bike and obeying traffic laws to avoid harm.

In honour of Allamah Iqbal's birthday, a speech competition was held by Adamjee in coordination with the Social Student Society. Our chief guest, Mr. Munir Sham, a well-known journalist, mentioned in his speech that literature and education are the two tools through which the well-being of society is attained.

In the Muslim world, There are only a few days more blessed and celebrated than the Birthday of the Prophet. To commemorate this great event, Adamjee College held a mehfil focusing on the seerat of the Prophet. Various Naatkhwaan and speakers were present and helped make the program a success

In honour of National Library Day, February 20, a seminar was held on the Importance of Libraries in College Education. The speakers for the seminar were Prof. Mehdi Hassan (chief guest), Prof. Mansoor Anis, Prof. Touseef Ahmed, Mr. Ali Asghar Dars and Prof. Moazzam. They all stressed on building a relationship with books and gaining not only knowledge but skills and personal development from books.

Congratulations to our essay competition winners from Nov 9, 2017. Omar Nisar and Syed Asad Ali were chosen by the judges as the winners for their well-written essays. Their essays were written on the topic of Fight Against Corruption and were sent to the NAB headquarters in Karachi.

As part of AGSC's goal of cultivating students' characters, an art competition was organized by the ABS held and 10 colleges from the East district participated. Khatoon-e-Pakistan Govt. Girls College won first place while Fatimiyya college and Govt. Karachi College got second and third places respectively. All Participants were given certificates of appreciation and the winners received medals. A big thank you to all participants, judges, and organizers for making this event a success.

AdamJee Govt, College organized an inter-collegiate cricket tournament that was held on 14th December 2018 at the Eidgah grounds in Nazimabad. Cricket teams from 4 different colleges took part in this tournament with the winners taking home a beautiful trophy.

A cricket Tournament was held at the Hanif Muhammad Cricket Stadium on the 11th of December, 2017 to help relieve students from exam stress and to promote physical activity amongst the students. The winners of this tournament were the Kings, the team from class XII-B and the runner ups were the Lions from Class XI-B. Both teams put on a stunning performance for the final and the game was enjoyed by the Guest of Honor, Prof. Ajaz Farooqi and the hundred or so students and faculty that were present.
