44 minutes late. And I genuinely felt bad. 🚲💨
After a long bicycle ride, I finally reached Amna’s birthday — and the moment she smiled, everything changed. 💛
Amna just turned 7 today 🎂 and she has been one of my absolute favorite children since the last workshop. Her confidence, logical questions, and electrifying expressions always amaze me.
Her mother had asked me for only ONE activity… but because Amna is special to me, I happily brought multiple STEM activities for her and her gang. 🧠🚀
We started with Marshmallow Towers, and the kids loved building them… and eating them too. 😂🍡
Then came the Egg Lander Challenge 🥚🚀 — designing a protective cup so the egg survives a drop.
Little Amal became SO happy when her egg survived. Abdullah tested his too… and it survived as well. One egg eventually broke, and honestly, I loved that moment too.
Because I want children to experience failures proudly.
That’s where real learning begins.
Every corner of the room had creativity happening:
✨ Mars rovers
✨ Bridges
✨ Telescopes
✨ Airplanes
✨ Free play creations
Aiza beautifully guided the younger kids, while little Liana slowly became my tiny friend after the balloon packet incident. 🎈😂
Mina rebuilt her bridge because the last one broke before her mother could see it. Even a burn wound couldn’t stop her engineering mission. ❤️
Then came FREE PLAY — no instructions, no targets, just children creating whatever they wanted. THIS is childhood.
The girls even made me talk to their father on video call all the way from the USA while he watched the STEM chaos live. 😂
And then came the homemade biryani. 🍛
After such a long cycle ride, it honestly felt like a lifeline. Huge thanks to Dr. Asma for the food, warmth, kindness, cake, pizza, and for handling the massive STEM mess afterwards. 😭❤️
This wasn’t just a birthday party.
It was glue everywhere, broken eggs, telescopes, engineering, laughter, kindness, friendship, and unforgettable memories.
