When big things break, there is not a sound nearby.
When relations deteriorate, there is no rumble of falling bricks.
Silence becomes the last defense.
But nothing comes of it.
Silence does not address the elephant in the room.
It does not heal the chasm.
Silence holds blames, fears and tears
Tears that may flow unchecked if only a word utters.
Because the quiver in the words is loud enough to announce the breaking, shattering and scattering of all that one ever held dear
But then all this is more heartbreaking.
To address all that could be with a WAS.
The remnants of what no longer exists.
"Was" gives birth to the greatest eulogy.
Given solemnly at the coffin of the deceased: Broken, shattered relations.
