Our student Hafsa Raza from a recent Qur'an ab Aasaan online session shares her feelings about the course in these beautiful words.
Farewell to Quran ab Aasaan
Today I stand with grateful heart,
As one sweet chapter comes to end,
In Quran ab Aasaan we began,
As seekers โ and we grew as friends.
I thought I knew the meaning well,
That every verse I understood,
But grammar opened up my eyes,
And showed me deeper truths for good.
Each root, each rule, each tiny sign,
Unfolded treasures verse by verse,
What once seemed simple, clear, and known,
Now felt like oceans โ vast, diverse.
From harakah to hidden gems,
From nouns and verbs to wisdom bright,
We learned that every single word
Carries layers of guiding light.
At first I felt I knew so much,
But soon I learned how little I knew,
Yet step by step, through every class,
A stronger understanding grew.
This class was more than words and rules,
It shaped the way my heart can see,
Now when I read the Holy Qurโan,
It speaks more deeply into me.
So thank you, teachers, for your time,
For patience, guidance, every day,
You didnโt just teach grammar to us โ
You helped us find a clearer way.
Though now this journey pauses here,
Its lessons will forever stay,
โLook back!โ our teacher used to say,
โFor reasons hiding in the line!โ
Weโd flip the pages back and forth,
Searching every sign.
โAnd give me a one-liner now!โ
That sentence still rings in my head,
Our minds would freeze, our hearts would race,
While silent duas we softly said.
For Quran ab Aasaan lit a flame
That time will never take away.
This is not an end โ itโs a start,
The Qurโan now feels close, not far,
Quran ab Aasaan changed my mind,
But more than that โ it changed my heart.
