From the Media & Publications Society 2016-17:
It was nothing short of a pleasure to work with Student Forum'16 and we are deeply honoured to have been given such an opportunity.
Although the session has ended, the Media Society presents as a parting gift, the promised Gazette of BKUMUN'16.
It was completed and printed two weeks following the Event but due to some highly regrettable and unforeseen events, it wasn't possible until now for it to reach you, people. Better late than never, I believe. Extremely apologetic for this tardiness. I hope you enjoy and love it as much as we did!
Again, thanks to the Patron Student Forum M'aam Naheed Zehra for supporting us through out the session. SF is truly indebted to your efforts, ma'am! Thanks to the whole SF Team, President Aliya Abbas and the Vice President Hamza F**d. And ofcourse, our team, the Press Corps that made it all possible.
With warmest regards,
-Deputy Head Media & Publications

Miss Naheed Zehra (Patron of student forum) is officially leaving Bahria College Karachi and her last day at Bahria College Karachi would be 10th august 2017.
"A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart."
Thank you for the support, guidance and encouragement you have provided for me during my time at bahria college and leaving me with memories to cherish through out my life. You're one of the very few teachers i have an emotional attachment with. You have always trusted me with great responsibilities and acted as a motherly personality. You taught me whats right and whats wrong, encouraged me to do things i was afraid to do and supported me in every possible way and most importantly you taught me to fight and stand up for what is right. I will never forget the things you helped me through, I saw my inspiration and I'm glad it's you.
Thank you for the motivation, knowledge and insight that you have given to all of us. Thank You for being there for us all the time. And we thank you for the time and effort you have spent on us.
The backbone of a good school is not made from fancy classrooms and large campuses. It is made from the excellent education imparted by teachers. You are an exceptional teacher who is highly committed to promoting discipline and excellence in the education sector. Thank you for all your help, guidance, and cooperation you have shown to us over the years. Your outstanding advice and effort towards bringing out the best in us are immeasurable.
It was your conduct, way of teaching, interactive class room sessions and your understanding nature that we will always remember. What we are today is just because of your supreme guidance. Thanks a lot for everything and all the best for your new beginning.
May ALLAH grant all the happiness to you and may goodwill be on your sides for the years to come.

Our students get highly motivated when they see such dedication to bring a change towards the underprivileged people even by providing them with clothes or small gifts. The small things we do for them can bring a huge change in thier life with smiles that they can cherish forever.

Greetings delegates!
The 2 days of intense debating and diplomacy in BKMUN 16 came to an end on Saturday. The 2 days that felt like an eternity. Student Forum and its members pulled it off and that too in a way that can easily be referred to as a remarkable effort. It is my pleasure to announce that everyone from the host team to the teachers to our worthy principal, all were left stunned by the level of debate that they had witnessed. I must thank you delegates!
BKMUN 16 was triumphantly conducted and I owe my gratitude to not one, but several hardworking individual. I will start of with Committee directors and their assistants first.
PNA
Hamza F**d, Shahmir Tareen and Tahmina Manzoor. I am proud of you my students. I witnessed how beautifully Pakistan National Assembly was conducted. From Nawaz Sharif to Ishaq Dar to Shiekh Rasheed as prime ministers to Martial Law in the country. Hamza F**d, please don't ever become a politician. Most engaged Committee!
UNSC
Hassaan Siddiqui, Yasoob Khalid and Anas Khurram. Let's be very straightforward here. This dais consisted of 3 excellent teachers. The level of debate in UNSC was so efficiently raised on day 2, thanks to the 3 brilliant members of the dais. Thank you boys!
SPECPOL
Hamza Polani, Talal Siddiqui and Aliha Iftikhar. You were always available to the delegates whenever they came across problems. You were organized at all times. Your role call sheets were always sent in before the rest. Great job!
UNHRC
Aliya Abbas, Syem Imtiaz and Danish Naqvi. I don't think we had a more punctual committee than UNHRC. Despite all the time management issues, you managed to conclude your committee before anyone else, that too in a properly conducted manner. Good work!
As far as the host team is concerned, I don't need to mention your excellent work. I honestly don't because it was very evident. But you know what, I will.
President
Aliya Abbas. You were the outstanding hard working individual leading from the front making all the things happen. From the shields to the Hi-Tea to the other logistics work. You justified your position as the President BKMUN 16. I owe my special congratulations to you Aliya.
Secretary General and Under Secretary General.
Hamza F**d and Bilal Aitmad. Hamza, it looked to me as if you've dedicated your life to BKMUN 16. You were always available. Everytime we faced a problem or a difficulty, you were the one who fought for BKMUN 16. Outstanding Hamza, simply outstanding! Bilal, whenever I needed something, you were the one who was always called. We were too blessed to have had you as our USG and I mean it. Name one conference related thing that you did not contribute to. There is an enormous list of things I have to thank you for, so i'll just leave it here. BKMUN 16 owes a lot to you Bilal. You should be proud of it!
Director General, Deputy Director General and the DG Team.
Asra Syed and Hira Wakqas.
Hello girls. I am so happy that you girls managed to get everything available on time. The placards, ID cards, arrangements in the auditorium and logistics. Thank you Asra, Hira and the DG team. I would also like to acknowledge the entire DG team.
M Aashir Altaf, Mariam Ashar, Iman Azhar, It is often that work such as yours gets underappreciated. You deserve all the credit along with your DG and DDG. Well done!
How can I forget the press corps and the prefects.
Press team, issues with the photographs are very common in events. Thankfully though, you proved that I could depend upon you for the rest of the year. Anqa Iqbal, Madlaaj Khan and Mahnoor Mehmoud, you covered the event well. As far as the journalists are concerned, Aruba Fatima, Yusra Khan and Duaa Qambar's work itself was very evident.
I would also like to acknowledge the members of council namely Maha Fargham (CC), Hamza Iftikhar (DCC), Saad Malik, Saad Ahmed and Talha Khalid for staying back during non school hours and contributing to the success of the event.
Thanks a lot everyone for making BKMUN 16 the 'flagship' event of Student Forum this year.
Best Regards,
Naheed Zehra
