Experience: 0-3 years of content writing experience in multiple capacity. Candidate should ideally have teaching experience on personal level to secondary students.

A recent data study by Malala Fund using data from the 2014-15 Ebola epidemic in several African countries, projects that around 10m secondary schoolgirls will not return to school after the pandemic.

In Pakistan, we often quote the crisis of 25 million out-of-school children. However, we seldom mention the 17 million children in school who are struggling and failing to read and write in almost any language: both those which are familiar, and those which are unfamiliar to them. When these children decide to no longer pursue an education, we say they "dropped out". But the truth of the matter is that in many instances these children are pushed out due to a systemic failure.

Let children learn English only after they have developed a strong foundation in their familiar language.
