A Successful Plantation Drive at KHAJJI GROUND GBLSS

Dignitaries:

- Madam Nighat Naz, Deputy DEO Quality Assurance, District Central Karachi
- Saba Waseem, Focal Person of Quality Assurance, District Central Karachi

Event Highlights:

- A plantation drive was organized at KHAJJI GROUND GBLSS,Khajji Ground where students actively participated in planting trees.
- The students also prepared a kitchen garden, which was highly appreciated by Madam Nighat Naz and Saba Waseem. They praised the students for their marvelous work.
- The students enjoyed the activity, which was a great example of learning by doing.
- An informative session was conducted by Raza Nafees, Head of School, which enlightened the students about the importance of plantation and conservation.

Outcome:
The plantation drive was a huge success, and the students took away valuable lessons about the importance of environmental conservation.

The meeting was chaired by Mst. Yasmin Ara, Cluster Head, who welcomed all participating heads and briefed them on the cluster policy. She highlighted the role and responsibilities of the Cluster Head and invited all feeder heads to discuss their needs and problems affecting the teaching-learning process.

- She inquired about access to the National Curriculum and availability of the scheme of studies.
- Emphasized the preparation of school improvement plans for their schools and Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
- Discussed resources and lack of resources regarding enrollment of students and infrastructure.
- Feeder heads shared their day-to-day problems and concerns.
- Mst. Yasmin Ara assured full cooperation and emphasized coordination for the successful implementation of the cluster policy.

The meeting aimed to facilitate collaboration and address challenges faced by feeder schools, ensuring improved education quality in the cluster.
