ABOUT MMI COURSE
MMI was established with the purpose of maintaining the Montessori tradition and it provides the most up to date and comprehensive course in the Montessori teaching method. It provides students with all the knowledge, experiences and practical training required in the Early Years Education.
MMI comprises of a teacher training department, a distance learning department and a mail order Montessori materials department.
The Early Years training provides students with a first hand knowledge of how Montessori works and the opportunity to observe young children at work.
MMI organizes and administer Montessori teacher training courses for part-time, Full – time and distance learning students in our centre. We also offer a teacher placement service for national and international positions.
MMI enjoys an international reputation and we are proud that our graduates are working successfully in Montessori positions throughout the world.
DIPLOMA IN MONTESSORI METHOD OF EDUCATION (2 ½ - 6 years) COURSE STRUCTURE
DMT 101: Montessori principle & philosophy
DMT 102: Child Development, Early Years, Child Care, Health & Nutrition.
DMT 103: Curriculum Planning
DMT 104: Montessori Exercises of Practical Life
DMT 105: Sensorial Education
DMT 106: Language, Phonics, Grammar
DMT 107: Mathematics
DMT 108: Cultural Subject; Zoology, Botany, Geography &History
MODE OF STUDY
Six Month Full – Time (Monday, Tuesday& Wednesday 9am – 3pm or Friday & Saturday 9am- 4pm)
1 Year Part – Time (Saturday Only 9am – 4pm or twice a week – Monday & Wednesday 12:00pm – 3:00pm or Tuesday &Thursday 3:00pm – 6:00pm)
