*International Conference on Research and Practice in Education (ICRPE-2023)*
Society for Social Sciences and Research Association (SSSARA) and Jinnah University for Women Karachi organized an International Conference on Research and Practice in Education (ICRPE). Researchers from different regions of Pakistan and abroad also participated there papers at the conference. Addressing the conference, the President of SSSARA, Dr. Maroof Bin Rauf, highlighted the research and research process and said that new researchers should choose new topics and real problems on a practical basis. He also talked about Pakistan's education system and said that despite studying science, we cannot become scientists because we are victims of crowd trickery. "Because we treat research as a common subject too," he said. Either we get scared of the Research subject or memorize this practical subject as well. Research creates interest, curiosity and inquiry in us and if these attributes and desires are not created in us from the subject of research, then it means we are not doing research. He said that in view of all this, 5 years ago we established the Society for Social Sciences and Research Association (SSSARA)۔
Current and former Vice-Chancellors, deans, chairmen and so many PhDs from Pakistani & International Universities are our members now. He also offered new researchers and teachers the opportunity to become members of the Society to pursue their academic and practical development with senior researchers. He added that today, Alhamdulillah, we have 6 research journals, so far the society has organized 4 research conferences, many seminars, training, workshops, tours and international visits. He urged the students to learn as much as possible from the opportunity of this conference given by their teachers and university. In addition, he offered Jinnah University for Women to support research work on behalf of SSSARA. Dr. Maroof Bin Rauf congratulated the Chancellor, Mr. Wajeehuddin Ahmed, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naeem Farooqui, Dean of Social Sciences Professor Dr. Farida Azeem Lodhi, and Chairperson Dr. Rabia Karim for organizing the wonderful conference.
Dean Social Sciences thanked all the participants and guests of the conference, especially SSSARA, with whose support all this was possible. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Effendi & Dr. Dawood Abdul Malik of Malaysian University and Prof. Dr Anjum Bano Kazmi from the Department of Education, Iqra University participated as Keynote speakers at the conference.
