Wedding season is here in my country. MashaAllah, love is blossoming everywhere—duas are exchanged, laughter fills the air, and families come together in joy. Lavish feasts follow, where savoury and sweet dishes are served in abundance, often beyond need. Yet, just beyond this circle of privilege lies a stark contrast: hunger, poverty, and empty plates. These parallel realities invite us to make some conscious effort to share our privilege with the understanding privilege.

Suggestion
Those who leave heaps in plates should be asked to pack it in disposable container right at the spot. Containers should be provided by the caterers. This would on one hand discourage the waste of food and on the other hand food could easily be shared with under privileged members of our society.
