SILK PAINTING WORKSHOP
With Zahra Husain on Saturday 5th February 2022

Zahra Husain is a silk painter who shares her time between Canada and Pakistan. She has over 30 years of experience working with silk paints and dyes. She started off as a self-taught artist and perfected her technique under the guidance of Susan Louise Moyer in the late 1990s, and more recently with Karen Sistek, a renowned American Silk painter. Zahra is particularly inspired by floral and nature pieces. She always welcomes the opportunity to learn from other artists and share the knowledge she has gathered over the years.

She will be teaching gutta technique, salt and watercolor technique in the workshop.
