1st Smbbmc Hands-On Head & Neck Surgery Workshop

Alhumdullilah we are all set now for the hands-on workshop to begin next week. The workshop is designed not only to provide a unique hands-on experience but also a blend of lectures on current trends in managing head and neck cancer patients. The eminent speakers across different institutes of the town are enthusiastic to share the updates and their experiences. The registration slots for hands-on participant are already filled and we are expecting delegates from all over Pakistan. The registration for lectures is still in progress. The SMBBMC Otolaryngology team is pleased to host a unique two day course which aims to provide in depth theoretical and practical overview of the surgical management of head and neck diseases. This workshop will consists of lectures, instructional courses and intensive cadaver dissection in the ENT department, Lyari General Hospital. Participants will have the opportunity to undertake supervised and independent dissection on fresh cadaver (one delegate per operating side). This course is suitable for junior consultants and higher surgical trainees and fellows in otolaryngology/ head neck surgery. The space for hands on participant is limited and early booking is advised.
