NED University: Food Engineering

NED University: Food Engineering 4 year BE program at NEDUET NED's Department of Food Engineering is a new and upcoming multidisciplinary field.

The field comprises of not only the typical subjects of engineering, but targeted study of subjects of Biology and Chemistry involved with Food. Topics like Biochemistry, Toxicology, Microbiology are some examples. Other subjects include the detailed study of application of this education in the major food sectors such as Beverage, Dairy, Confectionery etcetera. The course also comprises of practical performance of experiments used in quality control department of food industries. This field is quite new in NED but is developing into a well developed department over a very short period of time.
